Easy whole roasted monkeyface eel

It doesn’t get much simpler than this! Treat it like a trout, roast, and enjoy. WATCH our quick video first!

Ingredients:

  • Whole monkeyface eel, gutted, rinsed & patted dry

  • salt & pepper, paprika

  • butter

  • lemon slices

  • fresh dill

  • tinfoil

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. rinse and pat dry

  3. add salt, pepper, paprika to the inside flesh

  4. stuff with a few pieces of butter, lemon slices, and fresh dill

  5. wrap in tinfoil and bake for about 18 minutes

  6. when it’s cooked, use a fork to lightly lift away the spine

  7. Enjoy!
